Clarkes restaurant has established itself as one of the best and most popular restaurants in the City of Bath.
The restaurant and wine bar is managed and owned by Simon & Lyn Clarke, who hail from Bath originally but lived in Los Angeles for twelve years.
Simon found time in between acting to manage not one but two of the most famous restaurants in Los Angeles, L’Orangerie and La Cachette.
The restaurant is split into three sections:
A sophisticated yet informal dining room / bar on the street level that overlooks one of Baths, if not Europe’s most famous streets and an intimate, luxurious dining room on the lower level - plus now located on the first floor is probably one of the most exclusive bars in Bath called The Chazz Bar, which is very colonial with big leather armchairs and a tented ceiling.

Restaurants are all about good food and wine, and Clarkes does not disappoint with French influenced cuisine but with a little of L.A. for good measure. Couple this with a wine list selection of over 100, with many available by the glass makes Clarkes a great place to visit for lunch, dinner or just a quiet drink.
The Chazz Bar is open on Friday and Saturday nights from 7.00pm
