Twelve miles from Bath, on the edge of the enchanting Cotswolds and
close to the junction of the M4 motorway and the A46 is one of the country's
finest shooting schools, Lady's Wood.
What
better way to combine your visit to the Cotswolds than to arrange a
relaxing morning or afternoon clay pigeon shooting, where Pheasants,
Partridges and Peacocks roam free with you .
Founder Michael Pinker, himself an excellent shot and keen conservationist
created in Lady's Wood's 55 acres, an old world atmosphere complete
with an oak beamed natural stone lodge, tastefully decorated in tartan
and shooting memorabilia.
Lady's
Wood boasts one of the highest towers
in the country standing at 120 feet. Novice shots may well find it daunting
but with automatic clay pigeon traps dotted around it the clays can
be released from as little as 40 feet.
The excellent Lady's Wood team will soon have you hitting those clays.
Corporate hospitality is a speciality with coffee, cookies and lunch
served between shooting clays at the many automatic sporting traps dotted
around the immaculate grounds .
Bookings by appointment only .
