The
Stone Gallery was established in 1918 in Newcastle and bought by Tilly
Marshall in 1937.
Since then Tilly has formed The Stone Gallery into a unique business,
selling Fine Art by artists such as Dante Gabriel Rossetti and L.S. Lowry,
jewellery by Georg Jensen, modern and Antique paperweights, enamel boxes
and of course the family's' own exquisite jewellery.
The
Stone Gallery now consists of Tilly (at 88 years old), her son Simon,
his wife Veral and the newest member, Tilly's grandson Tom all three of
whom design and handmake their own jewellery on the premises in the charming
Cotswold town of Burford.
Due
to their unusual and quality designs the Marshall family jewellery can be
seen in Vogue and Harpers and Queen on a regular basis and because of a
particularly unusual design, Tom Marshall was honoured to meet the Prime
Minster at Number 10 Downing Street.
The
Stone Gallery have one of
