Roger
Widdas has been in the Fine Art business for over twenty five years
and during this time the gallery has been pleased to supply 19th Century
paintings throughout the world to museums, corporate clients and to private
individuals.
The Widdas Family can trace their connection with the fine arts back
almost 200 years to the portrait painter, John Widdas 1802 - 1858.
His son Richard Dodd Widdas 1826 -1885 was a fine sporting artist whose
evocative paintings of a coach and horses battling through snowy landscapes
are still reproduced on Christmas cards today.
Their extensive knowledge is available to anyone who may require advice
regarding insurance, probate, art investment and the restoration of paintings.
Every client, whether in the UK or from overseas is offered a fully insured
door-to-door delivery service.
Photographs, artist information and condition reports are always available
on request.
