Wold
Galleries first opened as the Halford House Galleries in the 1960's
and while they have experienced several changes of name in the following
years the wish to nurture up and coming artists and to show the finest contemporary
work available within an affordable price range has remained the first principle
throughout this period.
In 2005 the galleries re-located to an 18th Century building in Oxford Street,
Moreton-in-Marsh. Moreton is a busy market town north of Bourton and Stow-on-the-Wold
at the junction of the Fosse Way and the A44 Oxford-Worcester Road. Artists
